Rev. Carl Houston Beard, 73, died April 21 at New Orleans. He was formerly of Indianola and an Assembly of God Minister. Survivors include his wile, Willie Celeste CumimnKs Beard of New Orleans, two sisters Jessie McBride of Greenwood and Myroma K. Free of Drew; one son, Carl Winford Beard of Mobile, AL; three brothers, Homer L Beard of Memphis, Walton A. Beard of Tampa, Florida and William E. Beard of Cleveland, seven Grand children and four great grandchildren. Services were April 24 at 10a m at Indianola Church of God wiih burial at City Cemetery. Rev. James Hall and Rev. L C Cunningham oficiated.
