She was born on November 19, 1925 to the Late: William I. and Ruby V. (Harlow) Beard, in Indianola and resided in Drew most of her life. She was a member of the Ruleville Church of God in Ruleville, MS. She now joins her parents, husband Cleveland Thomas Free, son Marion A. Free, grandson Jeremy Allen Griffin, brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday 03/02/2014 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville and Monday 03/03/2014 1:00PM till 2:00Pm at the Ruleville Church of God. Funeral Services will be held Monday 03/03/2014 2:00 PM at Ruleville Church of God in Ruleville, MS with the Bro Joel Hammons and Bro Van Lott officiating. Burial will be at the Drew Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dewayne Mitchell, Chuck Morris, Anthony Luckett, Chase Watkins, William Chandler, and Robert Chandler.
She is survived by 2 Daughters, Brenda Griffin of Vardaman, MS and, Margaret Morris of Drew, MS, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild Rylie Kaye Griffin Chapal.
