Berchie Pauline Allison, 92 of Baxter died Thursday morning, January 13, 2022 at her home. She was born July 5, 1929 in DeKalb County to the late William Luther and Dovie Mary Martin Allison.

She was a member of Ozion Freewill Baptist Church and also attended Boiling Springs Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them. Berchie enjoyed flowers and redbirds, putting out a garden each year and canning much of it until her health declined.

Family members left to cherish her memory include her daughters: Glenda (Tom) Bradley of Baxter and Sue (Raymond) Randolph of Cookeville; son: Larry (Melissa) Allison of Baxter; sister: Willene Allison of Cookeville; brother-in-law: Jimmy Allison of Baxter; granddaughters: Tiffany (Andy) Hall and Amanda Randolph - all of Baxter; great-granddaughter: Allison Nicole Hall; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Wallace "Wally" Allison on December 22, 2001; sister: Lou Ann Allison Guy; brothers: Eli, Vernal, Haywood (Lorene) and Bill (Mary) Allison; son-in-law: Ernie Birdwell, brothers and sisters-in-law: Dimple and Carlos Howell, Dorthy Nell and Nathan Hargis, Hollis Allison, Margaret and Ralph Maxwell, Johnnie V. and Lou Nell Allison, Marie Davis, William "Bill" Allison, special friend Bricie Rice.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 15, 2022 from the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home with Bro. Jesse Flowers officiating. Interment followed in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
