Violet M. Hammer Campbell, 75, passed away December 23, 2007.
She was born May 22, 1922 in Brigham City, Utah. A daughter of Lewis and Choe Mathias Hammer. She was the seventh of ten children.
Violet married James Weston Campbell on November 22, 1940. They later divorced.
She worked at St. Benedicts Hospital in the nursery for many years. She also worked for Hercules Inc. as a Security Guard until her retirement.
Violet raised a family of seven children, Laura Covey of Heber City, UT; Kathleen (Joe) Gurule of Sunset, UT; Marie Hansen (deceased); Bernice (Mick) Burroughs of South Ogden, UT; Judy Sheehan (Ron Thomas) of Clearfield, UT; Kevin (Lori) Campbell of Plain City, UT; Karla (Robert) Jeppesen of Perry, UT. She has 35 grandchildren, 79 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the Mortuary, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service.
