Myers Mortuary, Roy, Utah. Clifford "Cliff" Leslie Hammer, May 2, 1925 ~ May 22, 2016. "Together Again". On the morning of May 22, 2016 our Holy Father found it in His heart to call our Dad and grandpa Cliff Hammer home to reunite him with his beloved soul mate Wanda and his youngest son. They spent 73 wonderful years together. Dad was born to Lewis M. Hammer and Chloe I. Marble Hammer on May 2, 1925 in Brigham City, Utah. He grew up in Brigham where one day he saw and knew he had found the one, he would share eternity with. He married our Mom and grandma, Wanda Gwendolyn Jeppesen Hammer on April 27, 1942 in Malad, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on September 11, 1969. He called Roy his home for the last 58 years. He was a member of the Roy 7th Ward. Dad served in the United States Army in Europe during World War II and retired from Hill Air Force Base. Pops loved the outdoors and never really retired. He was always remodeling and gardening around home. He was a great mechanic, auto body man and could do anything he put his mind to. "NO" was not a word he would use if anyone needed his help or guidance. But nothing was more cherished than his loving wife, children, and grandchildren.

He is survived by five children: Sons, Larry C. Hammer (Karen), Graham, WA; Roger L. Hammer (Peggy), Honeyville, UT; and Robert D. Hammer (Tammy), Roy, UT; Daughters: Trudie W. Anderson, (Andy, deceased), Kaysville, UT; and Marsha J. Burton (Jay), Fruit Heights, UT; Cliff has 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. He is survived by one sibling, Dortha Dearden.

He was preceded in death by his cherished soul mate Wanda, and his son, Curtis B. Hammer (Tonya), his parents and eight siblings. The family would like to give a special thank you to Ashlee, Russell and Ryan at IHC Hospice for all their love and care they provided to Pops. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 12 p.m. at the Roy City Cemetery, 5200 South 2300 West where Military Honors will be accorded. Arrangements under the direction of Myers Roy Mortuary. Send condolences to the family at: www.myers-mortuary.com
