Vance Lloyd Allred, son of Rulon Clark Allred and Myrtle Hoff Lloyd died at age 69 on June 22, 2021 of renal failure. He was born November 5, 1951 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Vance was an educator for 30 years, 23 of which were at Alta High School. He often said "I have had the most wonderful life. I was blessed to be a teacher." Sunday nights during his teaching career he regularly would say "I get to go teach tomorrow!" He touched thousands of lives through his career and his membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Most important to him, though, was family. He is survived by many siblings and loved ones in his Allred family. He was so grateful to be part of his wife's family. He always adored the Ripplinger, Mosier and Hilton families and appreciated that they enveloped him with love and acceptance. "They always treated me as one of their own."

He felt his greatest legacy was his children. He took great pride and joy in watching them all create families and fulfill their potential. Most of all, he taught them by example how to love unconditionally.

He is survived by eight children: Raphael Allred Seaton, Vanessa Allred Ermer, Marilynn Hennessy Pawar, Tara Lynn Allred Greene, David Hennessy, Court Allred, Brooke Hennessy Fitzgerald and Lance Allred.

He was the proud grandfather of ten grandchildren: Ryan Jessica Seaton, Liam Jon Greene, Levi Joseph Seaton, Alishya Margaret Pawar, Sylvie Jubilee Seaton, Emma Jane Fitzgerald, Edmund Beckstead Greene, Simon Brett Allred, James Peter Fitzgerald, and Caleb John Cristos Hennessy.
He is also survived by his wife.

He began his lifelong romantic love affair with Tana Lynn Mosier Allred 50 years ago. He repeatedly said, "I already know what Heaven will be like because I have been married to Tana."

Condolences may be sent to 765 East Red Maple Road, Salt Lake City UT 84106 or on the Larkin Mortuary website. Donations to the homeless shelter can be made in lieu of flowers or contributions using this link here: https://jobs.utah.gov/htf/

His memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021 in the LDS chapel at 951 East 3825 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. The family will be on the premises at 12 PM.
Cheerful colored clothes are welcome at the memorial to help celebrate his life.
