1944 - 2021
Early Life: The son of Dr. Rulon Clark Allred and Mary "Athlene" Mills Allred, Samuel began fishing November 19, 1944, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On any given day, you could find him slipping away from his Allen Test Products duties, or landscape and gardening business, and heading to the closest canal, stream, or clear mountain lake, usually with a child or two in tow, to cast a line or two. He loved filling the mountain air with music between casts. An avid fisherman, he reeled in a large school of family members made up of siblings, sweethearts, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. Sam had a great sense of humor and fishing trips usually included a few of his jokes; but most importantly, always included service to God and his fellowman. Samuel Taggart Allred, of Pinesdale, Montana, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at BeeHive Homes in Hamilton, finishing his lifelong fishing trip. He was 76.
Family Message: "We will all miss his fishing excursions but know that he is by his father's side casting that heavenly line."
