Funeral services for Mrs. Fleecy Ruf, 51, wife of Richard Ruf, Athens Rt. 1, were conducted Saturday afternoon at McConnell Funeral Home with burial in Germantown Cemetery.
Mrs. Ruf died Thursday afternoon at the Decatur Clinic following an illness of some time.
Besides the husband, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marvin [Opal] Aycock, Athens, and Mrs. Joe [Gladys] Campbell, Athens Rt. 1; one son, Hubert M. Ruf, Athens; four grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Mattie McSherry, Athens; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Bauer, Athens and Mrs. Charlie Muse, Athens Rt. 1; two brothers, Hiram McSherry, Athens, and Christopher McSherry, Summerville, GA.
