Carmen (Chavez) O'Down-Simmons, age 83, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, December 12, 2021.
Carmen is most remembered for her generosity to her family and friends. She loved country western music and going dancing.
She is survived by her children: Ivan and Patti, Evangeline, Alexandra, Lisa and Rick, and Gweneth and Jon; grandchildren: LaVon, Logan, Christopher, Jake, and Kailee; one great-grandchild, Kellen; brother, Tony Chavez; and sister, Betty Spangler; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
