Norma married Bill Seals on August 13, 1955 in Rose Hill, Virginia.
She retired from Sienna Woods Nursing Home as the dietary director in Trotwood after 35 years. She was a long time member of Bethany Church of Christ and was baptized in 2012.
Norma loved taking care of her family and made sure all of their needs were met. More than anything, she loved her husband and family. Norma loved country music, dancing, shopping and cooking for her family year round. She never met a stranger and she told all those that she met she loved them. Norma loved watching the Cleveland Browns with her family and always enjoyed a cold diet coke. She loved soap operas and always had music playing throughout the house. Norma took pride in her kids education and made sure they never went without, making sure she always put others first. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Bill; two daughters, Sheila Eck and Carol Flint; her parents; Ottis and Oshie Phillips; her siblings, Shirley, Sue, Shaunda and Pat.
Norma is survived by her four grandchildren, Billy (Denise) Eck, Jordan (Jen) Seals, Haile Flint and Thomas Flint; two great grandchildren, Skielynn Seals and Nova Lewis; a son in law, Charlie Eck; a sister, Toby (William) Wachob; and other family and friends.
