Mr. Thurman Dean Kirkland, 84, of Jena, was born on August 14, 1937 in Marcella, Arkansas and passed from this life late Friday night, November 19, 2021.
The family requests that a visitation be observed for Mr. Kirkland on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Kirkland and Oleva Sherrill Kirkland.
Those left to cherish in his memory include his son, Stephen T. Kirkland; and daughters, Kathy Kirkland and Pamela Bailey (Jerry). Mr. Kirkland was one of sixteen siblings; and he had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
