Services for Maxine Harris Watson, 87, of Cayuga, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Judson Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Judson Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Upchurch officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Foster and Brown Funeral Home of Athens.

Mrs. Watson died Sunday in Athens. She was born November 22, 1916, in Walton, Texas, to Oscar Harris and Mother, Donie Sherrod. Mrs. Watson lived in Anderson County area all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Judson Baptist
Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymon Watson in 1996, daughter, Linda Lozano, three sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Watson is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Turner and Joyce Watson of Athens, Kimbell and Dorothy Watson of Cayuga and Randy and Sue Watson of Athens, daughters and sons-in-law, Myrtle and Buddy Pritchett of Cayuga and Barbara and Rod Howell of Kerens, and brothers, Arvil Harris and Boots Harris, both of Palestine, 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chase Wilson, Jody Watson, Ricky Lozano, Karl Watson, Kirk Watson and Lukas Dowell. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 6 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
