Amann Killion Walling, loving Mother and friend, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 in Altamonte Springs, Florida, at the age of 92. Mrs. Walling is preceded in death by her parents Homer D. and Silla L. Killion, her husband of 50 years, Foy E. Walling, and three brothers, Ed Voygle Killon, Clyne "Buck" Killion, and Hiawatha "Pont" Killion. She is survived by her sister Dot Hinson of Palestine, Texas; son Michael Walling (Kathy) of McKinney, Texas; daughter Marcia "Missy" Miller (Larry) of Sanford, Florida. She also has 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who adore their "Ma," as well as nieces and nephews dear to her heart. In her earlier years Mrs. Walling was employed by the Department of Agriculture in Palestine where she met her husband, Foy. Although a native of East Texas, she has lived near her daughter in Florida for the past 6 years. Services will be held at Fields Chapel on Hwy 84 east of Palestine on Tuesday, May 25 at 10:30am, directed by Brother Randy Daw of the Johnson Street Church of Christ in Greenville, Texas, followed by internment at the Fields Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine.
