Services for Mrs. Clessie Christensen, 87, Norfolk, will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. James Coyle will officiate, and burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Visitations will be Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Home for Funerals where the Catholic Daughters of America will recite the rosary at 7 p.m. The parish rosary will be at 7:30.
Mrs. Christensen died May 11 at a local nursing home. She was born April 5, 1897, at Sturgeon Bay, Wis., to the late Patrick and Delia Writt. She attended nurse's school at St. Louis and was a registered nurse and anesthetist in Norfolk, first at a hospital and later for Drs. Bush and Salter many years. She was a 44-year member of Court of St. Monica, Catholic Daughters of America, and belonged to St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Does.
Her husband, Victor, was engaged in the automotive dealership and repair business many years. They were married June 29, 1931, at Norfolk.
Surviving are two brothers and three sisters, Pat Writt of Mesa Ariz., Hugh Writt of Norfolk, Mrs. Walter (Evelyn) Tweedale and Marcella Writt of Sturgeon Bay, Wis., and Mrs. Richard (Bernice) DeBauche of Stockton, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, and three sisters.
