Hugh J. Writt, 86, funeral will be held Saturday with burial in Prospect Hill cemetery. He died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 1994 at Norfolk. He was born Oct. 20, 1907 at Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to Patrick and Delia Writt. He was married on April 2, 1937 to Vivian Johnson at Waukegan, Illinois. They moved to Norfolk as he was employed by Railroad Express. In 1957 they moved to California and he worked for Douglas Aircraft until he retired in 1970. They then returned to Norfolk. He was survived by his wife, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, 4 brothers, 7 sisters.
