My grandmother was a tough ol' bird. She was a straight talker(one of my traits I took from her!) She was not afraid of anything and could handle any situation. She had to be tough. She raised 3 rough and tumble boys. From the stories my dad tells, she had to be on her toes 24/7 to keep up with them. My grandfather had a stroke in the early 70s and she single handedly took care of him for many years.
Lucille was an avid Washington Senators and Redskins fan!
