Lynn Davis was born in Panguitch, Utah to Hyram and Lisania Craig Davis on July 2, 1907. When he was born, he was so small he was wrapped in cotton and put in a shoe box and placed on the oven door to keep him warm.
On June 14, 1934, he married Gwen Cooper in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the father of five children, three boys and two girls. His son Kenneth Davis died on July 28, 1938. Lynn was a barber, a member of the LDS Church and The Lions Club.
Lynn died of natural causes on June 21, 1968 in Riverside, California.
