LAST RITES FOR MRS. LIZANIA CRAIG DAVIS HELD HERE FRIDAY

Funeral services were held in the North ward chapel Friday at 2 p. m., for Mrs. Lizania Craig Davis, who succumbed to cancer at her home here Wednesday after an illness of two years duration.
Beautiful services were conducted by Councilor Wilford Pandleton. The choir sang Oh, My Father. Prayer was offered by L. C. Sargent and a trio composed of Mr. and Mrs. Glorin Goulding and Mrs. Austin Heywood sang the selection, One Fleeting Hour.
The speakers were Mrs. Sadie Ipson President of the North Ward Relief society. J. T. Partridge and Bishop Hans P. Ipson. Belle Cooper and Lydia Lasscn sang Out of the Dusk to You, And I Shall Steer My bark was rendered by Mary Marshall and Eva Bell. Benediction was given by Ralph De Long. J. Frank Houston dedicated the grave.
The floral offering to the departed were many and beautiful, testifying to the high esteem in which the deceased was held by her legion of friends and her relatives in this city.
Lizania Craig Davis was the daughter of Joseph H. and Lizania Craig, and was born In Panguitch, Dec. 21, 1875. In 1894 she was married to Hyrum Davis and for a number of years lived in Old Mexico and Arizona, later moving back to Panguitch, where she has since resided.
Seven children were born to this union, two preceding her in death.
She is survived by her husband and five sons, Afton Davis of Tooele. Ashley, Waldon, Lyman and Lynn Davis, all of Panguitch, and eight grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Maggie Chrittenden of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. Tanner McEntee of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Opal Journey of Glenberry, Idaho; Sylvester Craig of Ardena, and Bert Craig of Santaquin.
The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved husband and family. She was a wonderful wife and mother and everyone sincerely mourns her loss.
