V. Irven Light, age 82, passed away peacefully on July 27, 1997 surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Irven was born November 16, 1914 in Neola, Utah to Martin William and Mary Angeline Keel Light. Married Mary Luella Wilson December 4, 1933 in Duchesne, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 1, 1938.
He was survived by his Bride, Mary of 62 years; two sons, Robert (Naomi) Light; Aaron (Gail) Light, five daughters, Fonda (Fred) Mellen; Louise (Robert) Pistorius; Velda (Marvin) Burton; Irene (Mike) Bird; Rose (Lee) Watts; 36 grandchildren; 85 great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; brother John Light.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, July 30th 1997 at 12 Noon at the McDougal Funeral Home located at 4330 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville, Where Friends attended a Viewing, One Hour Prior to the Services. A Viewing was held on Tuesday, July 29th 1997 from 5-8 PM at McDougal's West Jordan Mortuary located at 1861 West 7800 South in West Jordan, Utah.
Irven was buried after the Funeral Services at Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley City, Utah.
