Mary was my 3rd Cousin through her Mother; Luella Durfee Wilson.
Mary Luella Light, age 94, entered into her rest December 7, 2007 at the Alta Ridge Assisted Living Center in Sandy, Utah surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born October 15, 1913 in Salina, Utah to Christopher Ruben Wilson and Luella Durfee. She married her sweetheart, V. Irven Light on Dec. 4, 1933 in Duchesne, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple on April 1, 1938. Mary is preceded in death by her Husband and one great-grandson.
She was survived by her seven children: Fonda (Fred) Mellen, Louise (Robert) Pistorius, Robert (Naomi) Light, Velda (Marvin) Burton, Irene (Mike) Bird, Rose (Lee) Watts and Aaron (Gail) Light; one sister and two brothers; 35 grandchildren, 120 great-grandchildren and 21 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, December 12th 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Bennion Heights 4th Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 3045 West Bernina Drive (5837 South) in Taylorsville. A Viewing was held on Tuesday Evening from 6-8 PM at Valley View Funeral Home located at 4335 West 4100 South and One Hour Prior to the Services at the Ward Chapel.
Mary was buried after the Funeral Services at Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley City, Utah.
