Her fondest memories were growing up in New Roads. She enjoyed spending time with friends and a large extended family. Later in life she spent many years gardening, which she loved. She was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
Jerry was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Levy; her parents, Emelia and Leon Monceret Sr;
two sisters, Gracie Broussard and Garnet Alsbrook; and three brothers, Leon Monceret Jr, Herman Monceret, and Joseph "Boobie" Monceret.
She is survived by her five children, Donna Ramirez, Michael Ramirez (spouse Patty), David Ramirez (partner Craig Brock), Gary Ramirez (spouse Carol), and John Ramirez; five grandchildren, Ryan Ramirez, Ross Ramirez (spouse Kathleen), Emma Ramirez, Abby Ramirez, and Isabella Ramirez; great-granddaughter, Madeline Scott Ramirez; and a step-son Lance Blair.
