Mrs. Adah Frawley, wife of John Frawley, well known Nickel Plate engineer, died at St. Vincent's hospital in Indianapolis, Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, death being due to several complications brought on by heart trouble. Intestinal gangrene was given as the direct cause of her death.

Mrs. Frawley had not been in good health for several years but was possessed of an energy and determination, which carried her on. She complained very little. A lifelong resident of Tipton, she attended the Tipton schools, receiving a start in her education which she continued to increase with much reading. Her greatest distinction was her industry and her loyalty to family and friends, making her a mother loved by all.

The body was brought to the Young funeral home on West Jefferson street for preparation and was taken to the home on North Main street Monday morning to lie in state until the hour of services. Friends may call at the home at 624 North Main street at any time before services.

The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock and burial will be in St. John's cemetery.

Mrs. Adah Frawley was born in Tipton 59 years ago, is one of several children born to George and Susan Taylor, the homestead being located at the foot of South Independence street. She was married to John Frawley in 1896, and practically all of their married life was spent on North Main street, in their home-built shortly after their marriage.

Besides the husband, Mrs. Frawley is survived by several children, Mrs. Marie Bauermeister, of Allen County, Indiana; Mrs. Ella Bilby, Arthur Frawley, Mrs. Catherine Goodrich, Donald Frawley, Charles Frawley, James Frawley, Thomas Frawley, Anna Frawley, Imogene Frawley, and Mrs. Frances Davis, all of Tipton, and Mrs. Margaret Ashley of Michigantown.

Two sisters, Mrs. Flo White, and Mrs. Madge Colson reside in Los Angeles, California. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
