Beatrice Akers-Lawson, formerly of Springfield, died on Nov. 30, 2007, at John Knox Village Care Center in Lee's Summit, Mo. She was 81.
She is survived by her son Michael Andrus, his wife, Tammy, and her two grandchildren. She is also survived by her son Paul Andruskevitch and his wife, Sandy, of Toronto, Ohio; her brother, Ray H. Akers, his wife, Joyce, and Bea's sister-in-law Bobbie Akers, all of Springfield. Her former husband, Edward Andruskevitch, continues to reside in Pleasant Plains.
Remains inurned at Oak Ridge Cemetary in a private ceremony.
