Alfred Alexander Davidson, 85, of Eureka died on June 30, 1998 at Medicalodge. Graveside services were held Monday in Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Don Harper officiating. He was born on September 7, 1912 near Freedom, Oklahoma, the son of Alfred A. and Annie E. (Simmons) Davidson. On June 4, 1932, he was united in marriage to Viola Nellie Bliss in Coldwater. In 1951 the family moved to Greenwood County where he was a farmer and rancher and worked as a custodian at Random School. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Roberta Davidson; five brothers; and five sisters. He is survived by his wife, Viola, of the home; sons, Charles A. Davidson of Walnut and Marvin L. Davidson of Ninnekah, Oklahoma; daughter, Jennie M. Gee of Gladewater, Texas; a sister, Elva Sampson of Waynoka, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established in his name with Alzheimer's Association. Campbell-Kelley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
