James N. "Jim" Loyd , a retired nurseryman, died Thursday at Forest Manor Nursing Home. He was 79. Mr. Loyd was a lifelong resident of Folsom. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Alford Loyd ; three daughters, Paula Blackwell, Marguerite Morin and Mary Reeves; a stepson, Joseph Addison; a sister, Cora Thompson; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at 10 a.m. at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave. in Covington. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Fendlason Cemetery.
