Mrs. Mary Longstreth Fordyce, 85, of 845 Seventh Street, Waynesburg, died at 3:30 a.m. Friday, July 11, 1969 in the Greene County Memorial Hospital. She had not been in the best of health for some time.

Mrs. Fordyce was born April 26, 1884 in Center Township, near Rogersville, daughter of Isaac T. and Margaret Bell Eagon Longstreth.

The early part of her life was spent at Rogersville but she has resided at Waynesburg the greater part of her life.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Waynesburg, and the Scott Bible Class.

Her husband, Jacob G. died October 1, 1957.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Blanche Smouse, of Waynesburg; one son, Carl Fordyce, of Waynesburg; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, three sisters: Mrs. Rose Poe, of Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Blanche Morris, of Mt. Morris Star Route, and Mrs. Bessie Rattigan, of Waynesburg, R. D. 2, and four brothers: Thomas Longstreth, of Waynesburg; W. O. Longstreth, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; C. Doak Longstreth, of Rogersville, and Hal C. Longstreth, of Uniontown.

Two sons, Lawrence T. and Wilbert G. Fordyce, and three brothers are deceased.

Funeral services were held Monday with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
