HEART ATTACK PROVES FATAL TO LOCAL RESIDENT
Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon for Edward J. Billmeyer, local resident who died suddenly following a heart attack last Wednesday.
The services were conducted by Rev. Grant Lawrence, pastor of the Guttenberg Methodist Church, at the Tuecke Funeral Chapel and burial was in the Bolsinger cemetery with the following as pallbearers: Lawrence Bolsinger, Glen Bolsinger, Donald Bolsinger, Robert Radabaugh, Floyd Hyde and Elmer Bolsinger.
Mr. Billmeyer was born July 16, 1892 at Dyersville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Billmeyer. He married Susie Cole and they are the parents of one daughter, Rita Arlene. both Mrs. Billmeyer and the daughter survive.
