Young Woman Died Saturday at Potlatch Last Saturday Morning

Mrs. Jeannette Billmeyer, the wife of E.J. Billmeyer, fireman on the Washington, Idaho & Montana Railway, died early Saturday morning, May 11, at her home in Potlatch from epilepsy.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Catholic Church in Potlatch, and the body was brought to Palouse on the afternoon train for interment. Ed Anderson of this city having charge of the service.

The funeral sermon was preached by the Rev. Father R. Pecoal of Moscow. The pallbearers were the following intimate young lady friends of the deceased. Misses Lila Berg, Mabel Berg, Alma Dart, Clara Deary, Jennie Price, and Annie Price.

Mrs. Billmeyer was born at Appleton, Wis., on June 29, 1893, and as therefore but 18 years at the time of her death.

She came west to Potlatch, Idaho in 1906 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Ponto, where her father is assistant planing mill foreman for the Potlatch Lumber Company.

On July 24 last, she was united in marriage to E.J. Billmeyer in Spokane, Spokane County, Wash. She was a young lady of many estimable qualities and was a favorite among the young people of Potlatch.

The funeral services were largely attended, and many beautiful floral offerings were in evidence.

Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Billmeyer is survived by a sister, Miss Louise Ponto.
