Graveside services for Julia O'Neal Wroten, 87, of West Monroe will be held at 3:30 PM, Monday, September 13, 2021, at Hasley Cemetery Gazebo with Rev. Paul Laird officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Julia was born July 9, 1934, in Dodson, LA, and passed away September 9, 2021, in West Monroe.

She was a member of McGuire Methodist Church. She retired from Ouachita Parish School Board as a bus driver, was a beautician, and drove for Limousines Unlimited. She was a hostess for Kilpatrick Funeral Home and was loved and admired by her co-workers and staff.

Julia was preceded in death by her husbands Floyd Thomas O'Neal and Max Wroten; parents Morris and Velma Chappell; sisters Jean Elliott and Maurine Pipes; brother Bill Chappell.

Julia is survived by her sons Jay O'Neal (Katy), Carey O'Neal (Deanie), and Bart O'Neal (Rock Gable); grandchildren Jay Thomas O'Neal, Jr., Floyd Mixon O'Neal, Casey Chappell O'Neal, Maggie O'Neal, Jesse Thomas O'Neal, Kathryn Raye Delgado; numerous great-grandchildren; nephew Jack Stacy.
