Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Leona M. Quibodeaux, 84, who passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at The Ellington in Rayne.
Deacon Denis LaCroix from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church New Cemetery Mausoleum in Rayne.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky and wife, Marlene Quibodeaux of Rayne, Scotty and wife, Melissa Quibodeaux of Mire; three daughters, Gwen and husband, Mike Guidry of Rayne, Zona and husband, Carl Simoneaux of Rayne, Melanie Quibodeaux of Mire; three sisters, JoAnn Faucheaux of Rayne, Enola Duhon of Mire and Merita Mouton of Scott; eight grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and two great-greatgranchilden.
Ms. Quibodeaux was preceded in death by husband, Wilbert Paul Quibodeaux; one great-great-granddaughter, Evelyn Johnson; her parents, Eddie and Irene A. Melancon; two brothers, C. J. Melancon and Eddie Melancon, Jr.
