Margie Vane Gable was born on May 17, 1927 in Proctor, Texas to the late John Wallace and Margaret Pearl Trimble. She stepped through the gates of Heaven, August 29, 2021, after 94 years on this earth.

The baby of her family, she was welcomed at her birth by 8 other siblings. They grew up in Proctor and then moved to the Dallas area in 1957 and spent her remaining years here. During that time she married and had a daughter and son.

Margie worked many jobs during her lifetime, but the one she was most proud of was working at the Montessori School in Carrollton taking care of babies. She worked until she was 90. She loved to run around with her group of friends up until her death and loved to work with her plants and sewing.

She is preceded in death by her son Max Barnett, her parents and siblings.

Left to cherish the memories are: Daughter, Cynthia Bailey; Sister, Frankie Hudson; Granddaughters, Stephanie Gray, Adele King and Martha Kelso; Grandson, Ray Barnett; Great-grandsons, Bryce Durrett, Wyatt Kelso, Caden King, Ethan King and Cooper King; Great-granddaughters, Hailey Barnett, Natalie Barnett, Emily King and Avery Kelso, along with nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to list.
