Wilma Early, 72, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Rush Memorial Hospital in rushville.

Wilma was born March 25, 1944, in Oil Center, Kentucky, the daughter of William Thompson and Bessie (Sweet)Thompson. She married Charles Early in 1977 in Livingston, Tennessee, and he survives.

Wilma is survived by her sons; Andy(Cindy)Thompson of Shelbyville, and Charles "Randy" Randolph of Shelbyville; daughters; Tina(Tony)Winslow of New Palestine; and Jacala(Don)Hodnett of Shelbyville; sisters, Helen Adams of Knightstown; Bonnie(Mike)Rogian of Shelbyville; and Janice(Roger)Stevens of Spiceland; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents' brothers, Hollis Thompson and Ray Thompson; and sisters, Edna Flannery and Shirley Gobel.

She was a homemaker.

Wilma loved going shopping, playing piano and going to rummage sales.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 South Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Evans officiating.
