Violet 'Jodie' Josephine Blake, 61, Hays, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at her home. She was born July 16, 1946, in Hays to Virgil and Barbara (Pfeifer) Dreiling. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Holly Ward, WaKeeney, and Marie McDonald, Ellis; a brother, Virgil Dreiling, Hays; a sister, Virginia Dechant, Hays; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fort Hays Memorial Gardens. Memorials are suggested to Jodie Blake Fund to be established at a later date. Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine, is in charge of arrangements.
