Roy Warren Ehrhart was born in Boone county, Iowa, April 20, 1874, and passed away at the hospital here at 2:00 o’clock Friday afternoon, January 28, 1910 in his 36th year. He grew to manhood here and in 1898 went to Omaha, where he married Miss Stella Hobbs, who with two sons, Harold and Howard, survive to mourn his untimely death. In 1906 they moved to Seattle, Washington, and later to Portland, Oregon, where the wife and sons still reside. In 1906 he suffered a severe attack of pleura pneumonia, from which he never fully recovered. He came to western Nebraska last fall hoping to regain his health but to no avail. He gradually grew worse and it was thought best to bring him to Boone and place him in the hospital here for treatment. This was done Wednesday of last week but it was too late and he sank rapidly until death claimed him Friday afternoon.
