She was a native of Hawkins County and was a member of Honeycutt Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom F. Bruner; one daughter, Velma L. Fields; one granddaughter, Sandra Kay Lawson; two sisters, and two brothers.
Surviving are one son, Robert F. Bruner, Kingsport; eight daughters, Leota Wacks, Blountville, Vesta Allen, Mount Carmel, Ruby Baxter, Fall Branch, Mary Goodman, Mooresburg, Bobbie Skelton, Church Hill, Lula Jones, Kingsport, Odetti Blank, Maryland, Martha Wallace, Rogersville, 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted 2 pm Monday in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Roger Laws and Randall Burton officiating.
Burial was in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
