Mrs. Towers was a member of Amsterdam Methodist Church in Amsterdam, Missouri, and the Eastern Star and Shrines Auxiliary in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Surviving are her husband, Charles B. Towers; a son, C.M. Towers of Marion, Iowa; two daughters, Marjorie Ketleson of Marion, Iowa, and Marian Kelso of Alexandria, Virginia; a brother, Harry McChesney of Winfield, Kansas; a sister Nell Cary of Haines City, Florida; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
