Iva Grace Towers, 87, of 100 Rutledge Drive and 55 Idle Lane, Winter Haven, Florida, died Wednesday in a Hendersonville hospital.

A native of Andrews, Iowa and a summer resident of Hendersonville for 20 years, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew McChesney.
Mrs. Towers was a member of Amsterdam Methodist Church in Amsterdam, Missouri, and the Eastern Star and Shrines Auxiliary in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Surviving are her husband, Charles B. Towers; a son, C.M. Towers of Marion, Iowa; two daughters, Marjorie Ketleson of Marion, Iowa, and Marian Kelso of Alexandria, Virginia; a brother, Harry McChesney of Winfield, Kansas; a sister Nell Cary of Haines City, Florida; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
