Jack Scott Alldread

Jack Scott Alldread, 61, of Duck Hill, a forest technician with the U. S. Forestry Service, died Tuesday, April 27 at the Tyler Holmes Hospital, after a lengthy illness He was married to the former Earline Withers. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Alldread. He was a member of the Eskridge Baptist Church, a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the Grenada VFW Post.

He is survived by his wife, Earline Withers Alldread of Duck Hill; two daughters, Mrs. Gayle Patterson and Mrs. Yvonne Rogers of Duck Hill; three sons, Gary Alldread of Denham Springs, LA, Robert AJldread of Duck Hill, and Dewayne Alldread of Como; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Laster and Mrs. Ruth Blaylock of Duck Hill, Mrs. Travie Rose of Winona, Mrs. Ida Williams of Raymond, Mrs. Delia Tuttle of Anderson, Indiana, and Mrs. Adell Crawford of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Ben Alldread of Duck Hill; and thirteen grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday, April 29 at 2 o'clock at the Eskridge Baptist Church with the Reverend W. M. Hull, assisted by the Reverend Richard Morman and the Reverend George Steward, officiating. Burial was in the Eskridge Cemetery Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Joe Fowler, Don Tomzack, Terry Herbert, Tim Trogett, George McCrory, and Robert Cecil Miskelly.

Honorary pallbearers were Curan Noah, Chris Bryan, James McMillan, Joe Carson, Julius Johnson, and Kermit Wright.
