Funeral services held at Winona for Mr. Alldread

Jim L. Alldread died January 22 at his home near Winona. He was 72 years old.

Funeral services were held January 24 at 2 p.m. at the Oliver Funeral Home chapel, Revs. F. 0. Martin, W. M. Hull, Jr., and Leo Bailey officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, Oliver in charge.

Mr. Alldread, a retired farmer, was a native of Carroll County and a member of Moore Memorial Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Jane Sykes Alldread, Winona; nine children, Mrs. James Osborn, Mrs. Larry McClellan, and F. O. Alldread, all of Winona; Mrs. N. P. Fairley Pascagoula, Mrs. Condon Parker, West Point; Jim George Alldread, Greenwood, Harvey Leigh Alldread, U. S. Navy, Beeville, Texas; Joe Willie AIldread, Tupelo; and Billy Wayne Alldread, New York City.

Also, two brothers, Jack Alldread and Ben Alldread, both of Duck Hill; seven sisters, Mrs. Lucille Blakely, Mrs. Mary Laster, Mrs. Ruth Blaylock, Mrs. Jewell Rose, and Mrs. Adel Crawford, all of Duck Hill; Mrs. Delia Mae Tuttle, Indiana, and Mrs. Ida Lou Williams, Raymond. He had 15 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were James Latham, James Arinder, Maxie Ellis, Hervy Simpson, Dick Austin, and Olen Ross.
