Birtrez Nuskiewicz, 91, Green Bay, died peacefully Wednesday, September 14, 2016. She was born on February 24, 1925, in Clinton, MS to Ervin and Annie (Robinson) Sellers. Birtrez graduated from Clinton High School. She met her future husband, Anthony "Tony" Nuskiewicz while he was serving in the military. On June 14, 1947, they were married in Jackson, MS. Birtrez and Tony moved to Eau Claire where he received his Bachelor's Degree. They then moved to Green Bay where they made their home and raised their family. She was a longtime member of St. Agnes Parish and did volunteer work with the church and school. She enjoyed having her family all together and her dog, Chloe.

Birtrez is survived by two sons: Anthony J. Nuskiewicz, Washington Island; Stephen Nuskiewicz, Los Angeles, CA; two grandchildren, Anthony T. (Erin) and Michelle; and 2 great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Anthony B.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony, in 2007; her parents; and her siblings, Lavaughn Johnson, Lois Johnson, Ervin Sellers, Montez Nance, James Sellers, Ernest Sellers, Olean Byrne, Quida Harrison, Maxie Sellers Sr., and Genevieve Keen.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, September 18. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday. Friends may also call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with Rev. Patrick C. Beno officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
