In the Eighth Company of the Sixth Battalion of Lancaster County you can find serving Captain Moyer, Adam Heney, a Drummer, Fred Heney, a Fifer, Second Sergeant Stophel Heney and in the 7th class Stofel Heney all in the year 1777. Stophel or Stofel was used as a shorten version of Christophel. The Muster Rolls of Pennsylvania show that in 1787-83 in Northumberland County lived Frederick, Stophel and Adam Haney. In 1782 in Potter's Township of Northumberland County you can find Christopher Heany. In White Deer Township of the same county you can find Reunimus Heany and Frederick Heany. In 1783 Hironimous Heany is living in Potter's Township and Frederick Henny is living in Buffalo Township. Christian, Adam and Ronimus Haney were living in Potter's Township in 1785. In 1787 Frederick Heny was still living in Buffalo Township.
