Era Joyce Casey (Howell), 74 of Barling, Arkansas died, Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at home. She was a member of First Baptist on Grand Ave. She retired from Rheem Manufacturing after 31 years. She was born December 21, 1946 in Hagerman, New Mexico to Herbert Lee Howell and Sarah Estelle Rosetta Qualls. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years Paul Edward Casey; a son Michael Eric Casey; both her parents; four brothers, Kenneth Howell of Altus, Veron Howell of Ozark, Jackie Howell of Andrews, Texas and David Howell of Heber Springs; sisters, Rosezetta Howell of Ozark, and Alice Darlene Sewell of Odessa, Texas.
She is survived by two sons; Tony Daniel Casey of Barling and Jacqueline, Tony Edward Wayne Casey of the home; two daughters, Michelle Lee Ann Dean and husband Corbin of Fort Smith, and Jessica Renea Hill and husband Trey Hill of Middleburg, Florida; two sisters, Ethel Vaughn and husband Sid of Andrews, Texas, Faye Ellis of Carlsbad, New Mexico; a brother, Ricky Howell and wife Nellie of Checotah, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Tyler Herdjergen, Tamra Casey, Anastasia Casey-Caldwell, Michael Caldwell, Adalyn Joy Hill, Raymond Hill IV; Honorary family members, Hayden Campbell and Maricela and Ocie Rogers, Michael Dollard; and Best Friends and family at heart, Norma Goines, Nancy Stickland.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, August 9, 2021 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.

Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Belt Cemetery in Ozark with Brother Bobby Herald officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Bankston, Tony E. Casey, Trey Hill, Corbin Dean, Hayden Campbell and Tyler Herdjergen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Howell, Tony D. Casey and Michael Dollard.
