She lived most of her life in Boston. She boarded at the YWCA at 68 Warrenton Street for over 10 years (1900 and 1910) and she later boarded at 21 Gardner Street in the Allston suburb of Boston until her death, which is listed in the 1945 City Directory of Boston.
She was born September 1853 in Paris, Oxford County, Maine. She was the daughter of Sidney Algernon Farrar (1827 - 1902)and Maria Farrar Farrar (1828 - 1892).
