Obituary transcribed from Wayne County Press, 3/26/1925:

Rudolphus,  son of Philip and Mary Gloeckner b. Senica Ohio Apr. 23, 1855 and d. Mar. 4, 1925. They came to Illinois when he was 14.  Married Mary Taylor Feb. 7, 1878. His wife and four girls survive. One girl Cora died as a small child. The rest are Minnie Hargrave, Bessie Spicer and Lucy Hufhines of Wayne Co. and Sina Michels of Kansas. One sister Mrs. Frank Bratton of Johnsonville. Wesley Chapel cemetery.
