Betty L Dodd, 83, of Springfield died Monday, Sept 18, 2006, at St John's Hospice.

She was born March 2, 1923, in Springfield, the daughter of Isaac and Cora Gibbs Baggerly. She married Floyd F Dodd in 1947 in Springfield; he proceeded her in death. A son, Floyd W Dodd II also proceeded her in death.

Mrs Dodd was a clerk at Horace Mann Educators Corp. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Springfield.

Survivors: two daughters, Nancy J (husband Clifford) Castleman of Springfield and Judy (husband Rodney) Greene of Tumwater, Wash.; son Jerry (wife Sandra) Dodd of Springfield; nine grandchildren: 22 great-grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10am Thursday, Bisch and Son Funeral Home, the Rev Robert Needham officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
