She was born February 10, 1910 in Lawndale, the daughter of Isaac and Cora Baggerly. She married Elmer J Cain in 1929; he died in 1970. She was also proceeded in death by a daughter, Mary Sue Sewell.
Mrs Cain retired in 1984 from the Illinois Secretary of State's office, where she was employed as a clerk.
Survivors: a son Jack L (wife Dottie) Cain of Springfield; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Dodd of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 1pm Friday, Bisch and Son Funeral Home, the Rev Bob Needham officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
