Juanita was a member of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Parish in Pojoaque, and held a special place in her heart for the Sagrado Corazon Church in Nambe. She donated seasonal banners to the Nambe Church, altar cloths and flowers for special events. She and a good friend contributed the carpeting and its installation, and she donated the Missal Stand for the Church in memory of her late husband. She belonged to the Altar Society, Holy Family Society, Padre Pio Prayer Group and sang with the Nambe Choir at the Nambe church and at San Francisco de Asis in Nambe Pueblo. She watched the Mass on EWTN everyday.
Preceded in death by her: husband, "Charlie" Misere; parents, Andreita (Archuleta) and Merced Sandoval; son, James Garcia; grandson, Abran Garcia Valdez; siblings and their spouses: Sebastian & Ernestine, Vicente & Rose, Merced & Elsie, Garcedan, Josefita & Manuel Ortiz, Antonia & Cornelio Herrera, Feliciana & Aguinaldo Gomez; in-laws, Harold & Ann Misere; God-parents, Abenicio & Albenita Trujillo and Guadalupe Herrera; and many beloved relatives and friends.
Survived by: children, Donna Martinez (Nambe Pueblo), Arnold Garcia (Nambe Pueblo), Jeanette Garcia (Albq.) and Debbie (Dave) Ludwig (Thousands Oaks, CA); grandchildren: Lauren (Ernest) Saucedo, Joseph (Toby) Martinez, Andrea Baca (Cody), Bevjan Baca (Nicolle), Jolene (David) Nicoll, Jaymie (Evan) Cole, Jessica Garcia (Luis), Kyle French and Savanna Molina; great grandchildren: Miles Saucedo, Mia & Charlie Martinez, Christian Martinez, Kiley Nicoll, Aiden & Dylan Martinez, Damien & Scarlet Sanchez, Jaysin & Lovely Baca; sisters in-law, Maryann Misere (San Diego, CA) & Juanita Sandoval; and many close nieces, nephews, cousins; and friends.
