Cleo was a sweet uncle. He married: Clara Ezel they had one daughter; Joyce. They were divorced when Joyce was a small child.
He then married: Peggy Harroll. They did not have children. Although, Peggy had two from her first married. Bennie and Jeannie. Cleo thought the world of these two children, and in all sense of the word, they were his children.
When Bennie turned 16, Cleo took him on a father-son camping trip. Bennie was biten by a mosquito and came down with Malaria. The doctors did not find out what was wrong with him until it was too late. This was devastating to all of us, especially Cleo. He never got over the heartbreak of losing Bennie.
Cleo was the first child born to Thomas and Mary Callie.
