"Mrs. Dora T. Babcock, 72 years, died this morning at her home, 224 Thompson street. She was born in Mexico,O. For the past 50 years, she resided in North Tonawanda. She was a member of Twin City Council; Daughters of America; Rosedale Rebekah Lodge No. 386, and the Women's Relief Corps, GAR. A son, Ray C., and nine grandchildren survive. Rites will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence. Burial in Elmlawn." The Evening News (Tonawandas, New York), May 22, 1936
