Mrs. Nichols, age 89, of Boyce, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. She was a counselor to children at Renaissance Home. She always took great pride in her work caring for those who needed it most. She also worked at Central Louisiana State Hospital for a period of time caring for patients as well. She was a very loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also a great friend to those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Hattie Hinton; husband, K.C. Nichols, and a daughter, Linda D. Buckhalter.
She is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law; one sister of Marco, LA; twelve grand-children; twenty great-grand-children; three great-great-grand-children.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
