Mrs. Phillips was a member of Progressive Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School for 46 years, and was also a life long member of the choir.
She is survived by a son, Tom Pilkington of Princeton; sister, Elsie Baker of Princeton; two grandsons, Shane Pilkington and wife, Jessica of Princeton and Brian Pilkington and wife, Ann of Princeton; and one great granddaughter, Katelyn Pilkington.
Although flowers are welcome the family suggest contributions be made to Progressive Presbyterian Church at 3790 Progressive Church Road, Princeton, NC 27569
